This was the installation of all of the wood burnings I did for a woodworking class based around multiples, I made these 40-some-odd burnings in a 3-4 week period. The concept was based around traditional Americana tattoos and the composition loosely resembles that of a sheet of flash art. They are a mixture of traditional tattoo designs and designs I came up with myself. They were all done on scraps which I gathered from the shop and it is mostly poplar, mahogany, red oak, white oak, maple and cherry.
